Why has it come about? We are in to all aspects of BDSM from bondage and discipline through to spanking, so why has it taken so long for us to produce a spanking site? The simple answer is that we’ve been busy, but the real answer is that the UK used to be a
hot-bed of spanking production but various legal and economic pressures have led to several of the major production houses moving across the Atlantic or closing down entirely.

So it was actually Bunnie Stevens who is to blame – she pointed out that although we still have this amazing, world-beating (or being beaten) collection of performers locally, there are fewer and fewer shoots for them to go to. That’s not to denigrate the excellent producers who are still in the UK and are still producing – but the spanking models are feeling underemployed, and Bunnie thought that between us we might change that.

I’ve never been one to sit around and wait for other people to initiate projects if I am interested, so within a month of that conversation I had Bunnie over my knee at a spanking shoot and we had our first two films.

Of course it’s going to take a while to build up momentum, I already run a bondage site full-time, but I have shoots booked with many of the major UK spanking stars over the course of the next six months, so I’m just going to throw up the films as I make them and see what you, our lovely potential audience, make of them.

What’s Different About Us?

We are (obviously!) performer-led since everyone involved in the project is on-screen. All our work is ethically produced, as you’d expect. I’m bringing my technical skills as a film-maker of 20+ years standing to bear- Restrained Elegance is known for the high
quality of our films and Spanked Elegance is going to do the same.

Everything is shot in 4K, on digital cine cameras. Each film is going to have its cinematic edit (the normal edit telling the story and cutting between cameras as to do that best – so sometimes showing a stroke landing on a bottom, other times focussing on the model’s face for their reaction.

Then you will get the continuous take of the spanking itself from each angle we film – so the whole spanking from the bum cam, the face cam and the wide cam (if there was space to use one). No more wishing you could just concentrate on the one angle – now you can!

In terms of storylines we’re going to be starting with the ones that appeal to me (Hywel) as I’m going to be the top for the early films. I like a warmer dynamic that the stereotypical “OCD top who canes you for your socks being uneven by 1 millimetre” so the
first few films are going to come out quite playful in tone, but still severe in spanking. As Bunnie put it “sometimes it’s nice to feel like the characters are going to go off and fuck after the film ends, rather than hating each other”. I’m sure Amelia will be absolutely impossible at her forthcoming shoot (in the most spankable-possible way) and Lucy Lauren is going to be cute but
tough so the dynamic will grow out of how we perform together.

This will naturally broaden as and when we use the proceeds of the early shoots to book more shoots, and widen the participation to include other tops once I can pay them!

All of which seems a bit high-falutin’ given that I’ve shot exactly two films for the project so far! But darn it, I’m going to launch it right away and see what everyone thinks because it was a lot of fun to shoot and I hope that comes across in the finished films!
